Jami Werth, BAAS, AAS, RCP/AE-CMember: NBRC, AARC, ACTJami Werth, Respiratory Care Practitioner, 2000 TJC graduate and 2018 ATM-Commerce graduate, is a Health Science teacher in Rockwall, Texas where she uses her skills as a therapist who specializes in Pediatric Asthma Education to help student learn more about the medical field. As a pioneer respiratory clinician outside of the hospital setting, Jami performed asthma evaluations, asthma follow-ups and has been instrumental in creating care plans to help patients recover from acute respiratory diseases such as RSV and pneumonia for the past 12 years. Jami, an East Texas Native began her career in respiratory care as a therapist in a small ETMC facility. She moved to Rockwall in 2005 where she networked with Respiratory Associates of Texas (RATS). In 2007 her children’s pediatrician approached her about a job working in his office to help educate about respiratory diseases to include medication management. In addition her networking within the medical community landed her the opportunity to teach at the high school level with a fellow medical professional. In addition, Jami also owns a small business locally in the Rockwall area where she sells the new revolutionary product in skin care, Rodan and Fields! An important aspect of her life is her family and when she isn’t working she spends her time enjoying them, husband, Trevor, (an engineer in the Dallas area) daughters, Peyton (Berklee College of Music graduate) and Kaiton, son, Brennan, (the athlete) and baby Ashtyn, who plays volleyball and wears the status of family “boss”.
