Conduct training once a week by using power point slides to ensure individuals fully understand the task, conditions, and standards of the training they are about to receive. Next, is the hands on training to allow them physically use what they have just learned in a classroom setting. Logged over 5,000 miles without incident or accident on some of the most challenging and congested roadways transporting various Class I, II, III, and IV supplies throughout Missouri. Competence played a vital role in the success of Alpha Company's missions. Demonstrated exceptional resourcefulness and dedication to duty, which led to the selection as the Training NCOIC. Scheduled company training and scheduled Soldiers to go to military schools. Kept accountability of equipment and Soldiers. Tact, hard work, positive attitude towards the job, and willingness to accept addition responsibilities were particularly vital for the company's successful support of the brigade field training exercise to Camp Atterbury, IN ensuring Soldiers were ready to perform their mission. Performance was second to none. Motivation and desire to exceed the standards was infectious to fellow Soldiers. Consistently exceeded expectations and motivated team members without being prompted by leadership. Took the lead in organizing and updating the CBRN and Commo records setting a standard within the company.

Took great initiative in ensuring the efficiency of the FSAP and exhibited a willingness to learn ASP operations despite being outside of current MOS. Supported the 1-75 Cavalry Regiment during Eagle Flight I as an ammunition handler. Displayed the utmost dedication while responsible for accountability of the Squadron's Class V items. Issued over 28,000 rounds of ammunition during Eagle Flight I and during the year, issued out more than 500,000 rounds of combined live and blank ammunition with no discrepancies. Showed great pride and enthusiasm in every task producing excellent results throughout the duration in Delta Company. Recorded and kept accountability of bulk fuel within the Squadron's Class III section. Distributed over 5,000 gallons of JP-8 which enabled the Squadron to remain mobile. Attention to detail in maintaining records and supporting documents ensured the Squadron's Class III were clear of deficiencies. Maintained exceptional accountability while dispatching, cleaning, and performing preventative maintenance checks and services on assigned vehicles. Properly maintained assigned equipment which led to 1,000 accident free miles. Took initiative by training Soldiers on three of the HMMWV as well as the LMTV and HEMTT, ensuring they were properly licensed. As Ammunition squad leader, was responsible for the turn in, accountability, and distribution of 1-75 Cavalry's ammunition. Due to integrity, was able to distribute ammunition at a time when all other units were restricted from doing so. During Eagle Flight I, was responsible for the construction of a Field Ammunition Supply Point (FSAP) and the safeguarding, accountability, and distribution of 1-75 CAV's ammunition. The Brigade Ammunition Chief and NCOIC determined that this FSAP will be the new Brigade standard and should be taught to and replicated by all 2BCT personnel.

Camp Humphrey'S, South Korea

Was instrumental in the receipt, storage, and issue of over 200,000 gallons of JP-8 in support of 3-2 GSAB units and the 2nd Combat Aviation Brigade (CAB). Primary duties included refueling UH-60 Blackhawks, CH-47 Chinooks, and supporting the refueling of AH-64 Apache aircrafts, as well as maintaining the monthly form for accountability of all fuel issued and received. Made a positive effort in accomplishing mission during both tactical and garrison operations. Professionalism enabled the unit to reach all of it's objectives in both safe and timely manner. Knowledge of the M978 HEMTT allowed the distribution platoon to maintain operational readiness to respond to all urgent medical evacuation requests. Motivation and dedication to duty contributed to the success of two Heavy assault Forward Area Refueling Point missions, one Hot Point mission, and one FAT COW operation. Served as an aircraft fuel handler for Rodriguez Live Fire Complex Hot Refueling Point of over 18 aircrafts without incident or mission failure. Motivation was always felt by others and attention to detail distinguished the character to be a Soldier ready for more responsibility. Lived the Army values and constantly demonstrated dedication to duty by placing mission first and personal interest second, and always setting the example for his peers to emulate.

Conducted training for transporting hazardous material with a tractor trailer and a single framed vehicle with a 2500 gallon tank to haul fuel. Course took four weeks. Week one was learning hazmat and certifying. Week two and three was learning how to do preventative maintenance services and checks (PMSC) on the HEMTT fuel truck. Learned how to inspect vehicle to ensure it was fully mission capability to drive on the highway with out creating a hazard. End of week three was a driving test. Tested out on day driving and night driving using black out lights. Week four was the same procedure, but on a tractor trailer. Had to properly and safely hook up a trailer to be able to take on road test. The final test was backing the tractor and the trailer for 100m without touching the lines on both sides of the vehicle.

Advanced Individual Training (AIT) for Petroleum Supply Specialist. This course is11 weeks of Advanced Individual Training with on-the-job instructions. Part of this time is spent in the classroom and part in the field, including practice in using petroleum. Some of the skills learned are: Operating airplane refueling systems and equipment, planning and scheduling petroleum transport, operating pumps, pipelines and tanker equipment, safety regulations and procedures for handling dangerous materials, testing oil and fuels.

Basic Combat Training (BCT) is a training course that transforms civilians into Soldiers. Over the course of ten weeks, recruits will learn basic tactical and survival skills along with how to shoot, rappel, and march. They will also learn the basics of Army life and military customs, including the Seven Core Army Values. There are three phases. Red phase schedule: Recruits arrive for general orientation and are given haircuts and issued Army uniforms, basic tactical training begins, followed by Nuclear Biological and Chemical Defense, Landmine Defense and rappelling at the confidence tower, recruits learn about Army heritage and the Seven Army Core Values, recruits undergo the Army Physical Fitness Test to help determine their physical aptitude. This test is routinely administered to Soldiers throughout their enlistment periods to ensure that they reach their top physical condition. White phase schedule: Tactical Foot March, Basic Rifle Marksmanship, engagement Skills and Situational Training Exercises, Field Training Exercises, Confidence Obstacle Course and the Tactical Foot March. Blue phase schedule: U.S. Weapons Training (.50 Caliber M2), (Hand Grenades), (M136 AT-4), (M240B Machine Gun), (M249 Machine Gun), Field Training Exercise 3, and Tactical Foot Marches of 10KM and 15KM. Basic Combat Training has pushed the recruits' minds and bodies to new limits, giving them a deeper respect for themselves and those around them. Now, the time has come to celebrate their efforts and the strength they've gained. This is the day that their families and friends gather to watch them transition from citizens to Soldiers.

Had to be certified on a forklift and be able to operate it safely. Use forklift to bring in empty oxygen bottles to be cleaned, inspected for serviceability, and then filled with oxygen. A manifest is printed out for work order of which size of oxygen tanks need to be filled and which Airgas plant they will be shipped to. While converting the liquid oxygen to gas, it is important to check for leaks and make sure bottles don't heat to fast and explode. Have to operate several valves to convert the oxygen from liquid to gas. Once operation is complete, tanks have to have valves closed, and then rolled off line and strapped to a pallet to be hauled outside with the forklift.
