A longtime health and fitness enthusiast, Jami has been studying and teaching Pilates for over 20 years. Jami spent eight years, as a valued Pilates instructor at several studios in the Palm Beach, Florida area. She has worked with healthy bodies as well as with clients who suffered from chronic conditions and injuries. Before leaving Florida, she spent four years at Pulse Pilates Studio, where she was the Studio Director, Master Instructor and Educator.Her approach to teaching Pilates merges classic delivery with a modern approach. She follows the philosophy of “less is more.” She believes it isn’t the quantity of the exercise, but the quality of the movement. Jami is certified through All-American Pilates and Pulse Pilates. She also has received extensive training through Power Pilates and has attended numerous workshops led by top trainers in the industry including Siri Dharma, Mary Bowen, Bob Leikens, Kathy Corey and Christine Romani-Ruby. Jami’s extensive knowledge of all Pilates apparatuses, offers any client a challenging and custom workout. Jami also is one of the original Xtend Barre instructors. In 2007, she began her Barré practice in Boca Raton.In the Fall of 2009, Jami relocated to southeast Michigan. At that time, she began developing plans to open her own Pilates practice. In the summer of 2010, she joined forces with Pure Balance Studio in Rochester, Michigan. There she has established a foundation to evolve Pilates and bring a South Florida “attitude” of fitness to the Metro Detroit area.Today you can find her serving up an awesome Barre workout and training clients throughout northeast Detroit suburbs. In 2019 Jami joined the Barre Intensity Master Trainer Team. You may find her coming to a city near you training up can coming Barre Instructors. When she isn’t teaching and tending to her family she is sharing her wellness knowledge as an Independent Consultant for Arbonne International and dressing bodies with Zyia Active clothing line.
