Marlborough Makers is a collective of volunteers who work to create a networking platform for artists, musicians, writers, tinkerers and budding entrepreneurs in the Marlborough MA and surrounding Central MA area.

-Rivers and Revolutions is a semester long program where students explore the intersection of environmental sustainability, educational equity and social justice through an interdisciplinary place-based curriculum. Students travel off campus to engage with these complex topics through the lens of visual arts with on-site art making, group work, hiking, canoeing and more!-Member of the Concord Public Schools district wide Cultural Competency subcommittee

-Served as ALC Board Secretary.-Member of the Outreach subcommittee and the Alumni of Color working group.

-Grade Team Leader: facilitates bi-monthly high school staff professional development meetings-Instructs grades 8-12 in the International Baccalaureate MYP and DP curriculum -Presents quarterly gallery walks of student works for the school community-Collaborates with the Institute of Contemporary Art on a cross-curricular unit and ICA student performance and exhibition -Working with Boston University of Fine Arts to develop a partnership in building an authentic STEAM curriculum -Attends regular IB conferences and round table discussions-Raised over $15k in funding for the visual arts program-As the Summer Enrichment Coordinator for the summers of SY15/16 and SY 16/17: -Designed a programmatic theme on sustainability and urbanization based on the MFA exhibition MegaCities Asia-Facilitated additional trips to the Boston Harbor Islands and Fenway Farms within the context of investigating our environment through the lens of sustainability. -Coordinated 10 mentors through UMass Boston and a guest teaching group through Project Med Impact -Instructed a mini course on digital collage with the aim of creating environmental activist posters through Pixlr.editor -Offered instruction support and guidance with connecting two additional courses based in Math and Humanities to our overarching theme.

Facilitates biweekly professional development meetings for 8-12th grade teaching staff.

Designed and facilitates an interdisciplinary summer curriculum for students interested in exploring the International Baccalaureate more deeply; includes weekly field trips and a culminating student work exhibition.

Designed and instructed afterschool K-2 pottery with the incorporation of JQUS High School students as program interns.

-Reviewed and revised lesson plans of summer courses in Architecture, Interior Design, Sustainable Fashion Design, Drawing, Painting, Public Art, Fashion Challenges, Jewelry Design, Comics and Graphic Novels, Sociology of Fashion, DIY Arts, Consumer Culture, Stress Management Techniques and Fencing -Conducted 20-35 minute biweekly evaluation observations of classroom instruction and facilitated follow up feedback meetings with instructors.-Managed course budgets, supplies, requisitions, student emergencies, substitute teaching coverage and survey data-Created Explo’s first Student Needs and Accommodations Guide for instructional staff-Directed gallery exhibitions for Explo arts courses in the Yale University School of Art, Green Hall Galleries -Lead overnight trips with 45 international students to Boston and Washington DC for historical tours and museum visits -Lead college trips to Princeton University and Rutgers University

-Member of the Diversity Working Group in collaboration with Pat Kelly of the Education Development Center and Boston College to implement and evaluate school wide incentives such as affinity groups, family surveys, and cultural enrichment -Member of Diversity Dialogues of YWCA Boston for further training around multicultural endeavors -Managed the 5-12 Visual Art Department across 2 campuses with grants including: Linde Family Foundation Grant (current primary funding the BCCS 5-8 program), and the Annual Mass Cultural Council Visiting Artist Grant (44 high school sessions).-Facilitated community collaboration satellite programming including the Ubuntu Project, Juvenile Justice and Youth Advocacy with Wheelock College, Wall Talk with Institute of Contemporary Art, and the Elliot School Visiting Annual Woodworking Program (both in class and afterschool programs).-Collaborated with Sarah Mayper from Emmanuel College in ELA/Art PD sessions on Universal Design for Learning-One of three teachers to pilot District Determined Measures (Visual Art) for the DESE DDM 2013-14 Pilot for our district-Member of the Teacher Evaluation Working Group to merge DESE DDMs with district 2014-15 teacher evaluation protocol
