Keeping an open mind getting out there, showing our true colors and not being afraid. Being honest with others and ourselves. Showing love to ourselves and our community. To grow, to be aware of your feelings and to acknowledge any feelings of anger, worry, pain etc, as holding on to them could lead to Physical and Mental sickness. Kiyam. What the colors of my logo mean for purple is creative, imagitive and wise. Orange is friendly, cheerful and is all about confidence. Also I picked orange to represent every child matters. Red stands for Bold, Excitement and youthful also for MMIW. What the logo represents is native to our land hence the Arrowhead and Feathers. The Arrowhead you can see it has crevices which means that its been through a lot like our first nation's people. Era the story of how first nation's people have been in the dark for so long. It is now our Era to come out of our turtle shells and show our creativity, imagination, excitement, youthfulness, our boldness, confidence, friendliness, cheerfulness and how wise we are. I say turtle because of the land we as first nation's people called the land turtle island. Tapwe.
