Completed a year-long post-doctoral fellowship. Assessment responsibilities included two full psychological assessments per week, completing integrated psychological reports for families/clients within three weeks. Then, providing in-person feedback and recommendations and written report. Assessments batteries typically included cognitive/IQ assessment, psychological functioning (e.g., social/emotional, self-report, personality, interviews), social functioning (e.g., autism assessment), academic achievement functioning, and neuropsychological concerns (e.g., memory, attention). Intervention included an ongoing counseling caseload of approximately 22 clients. Focused primarily on youth with anxiety, trauma-focused cognitive behavior therapy, and adolescents with adjustment/identity concerns. Led an 8-week social skills group for young adults with social skills deficits. Provided supervision with a licensed psychologist to a Masters of Social Work intern who carried a caseload of 3-4 clients. Engaged in consultation across a range of settings. Provided consultation to local school regarding behavioral interventions for young students with emotion regulation difficulties. Engaged in inner-agency collaboration regarding Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion practices. Completed a year-long, APA Accredited pre-doctoral internship in clinical and developmental psychology. Participated in two year-long clinical rotations. The Clinical Child Outpatient Clinic rotation included administration, scoring, and interpretation of psychological assessment tools chosen based on presenting concern and reason for referral. Feedback was provided via a written psychological report and reviewed with the family and client. This rotation also included managing a caseload of approximately 15 children/families. Primary treatment modalities included: Trauma-Focused CBT, CBT, behavior management, and manualized treatment protocols. The Interdisciplinary Evaluation Clinic included a pre-doctoral intern, speech/language pathologist, audiologist, and occupational therapist. Interns completed one assessment per month, met with the team to discuss results, diagnoses, and recommendations, and staffed all referrals as a team. Psychology interns provided oral feedback and a written report incorporating all disciplines. Three, four-month rotations were also required for this internship. The Early Childhood Assessment Rotation focused on early assessment of youth ages 0-5. Assessment was typically for neurodevelopmental concerns. The Pediatric Group Therapy rotation focused on co-leading two, 8-week groups under supervision of the licensed psychologist. One group was social skills for youth ages 12-14, one group was a coping skills group for youth ages 8-11. The Youth Residential Assessment Clinic rotation included completing assessments for youth ages 7-13 recently admitted to a long-term residential facility for severe psychological/psychiatric concerns. This rotation focused on synthesizing child's history, administering/scoring IQ assessments, and providing diagnostic clarity to guide team treatment and medication management. Other duties included supervision practicum students, attending didactics, and professional development presentations.
