I am currently a Nationally Certified School Psychologist working full-time for the Monroe County Community School Corporation in Bloomington, Indiana. I am also an adjunct faculty member for the Counseling and Educational Psychology Department at Indiana University, Bloomington. I teach Biological Basis of Behavior. I received my PhD in School Psychology from Ball State University in December 2022. I completed a one-year APA accredited pre-doctoral internship in clinical psychology at Easterseals Rehabilitation Center in June 2022. I then stayed at Easterseals for my year-long post-doctoral fellowship in clinical psychology. I specialize in psychological assessment and diagnosis of children and adolescents. Completed a year-long, APA Accredited pre-doctoral internship in clinical and developmental psychology. Participated in two year-long clinical rotations. The Clinical Child Outpatient Clinic rotation included administration, scoring, and interpretation of psychological assessment tools chosen based on presenting concern and reason for referral. Feedback was provided via a written psychological report and reviewed with the family and client. This rotation also included managing a caseload of approximately 15 children/families. Primary treatment modalities included: Trauma-Focused CBT, CBT, behavior management, and manualized treatment protocols. The Interdisciplinary Evaluation Clinic included a pre-doctoral intern, speech/language pathologist, audiologist, and occupational therapist. Interns completed one assessment per month, met with the team to discuss results, diagnoses, and recommendations, and staffed all referrals as a team. Psychology interns provided oral feedback and a written report incorporating all disciplines. Three, four-month rotations were also required for this internship. The Early Childhood Assessment Rotation focused on early assessment of youth ages 0-5. Assessment was typically for neurodevelopmental concerns. The Pediatric Group Therapy rotation focused on co-leading two, 8-week groups under supervision of the licensed psychologist. One group was social skills for youth ages 12-14, one group was a coping skills group for youth ages 8-11. The Youth Residential Assessment Clinic rotation included completing assessments for youth ages 7-13 recently admitted to a long-term residential facility for severe psychological/psychiatric concerns. This rotation focused on synthesizing child's history, administering/scoring IQ assessments, and providing diagnostic clarity to guide team treatment and medication management. Other duties included supervision practicum students, attending didactics, and professional development presentations.
