I have a diverse background and training in biology with a focus in natural resources. My work experience includes working on multiple restoration projects related to a Natural Resource Damage Assessment settlement, ecological and human health risk assessments, data management and reporting, project management, and a wide variety of field and laboratory experience. Field-based experience includes leading field teams, collecting amphibian, invertebrate, wild game, bird, fish, vegetation, sediment and water samples.  I also have experience conducting vegetation assessments, tracking and handling desert tortoises, conducting bat emergence surveys, and assisting with mussel relocation efforts. Experience using specific protocols such as Procedure 51: Qualitative Biological and Habitat Survey Protocol for Wadeable Streams and Rivers, and ‘Clean Hands, Dirty Hands’ for trace mercury analysis. Laboratory experience includes processing and homogenizing tissue samples, extracting DNA and lymph node samples, and processing bear and elk teeth for aging purposes. I have also created and maintained multiple Access databases, conducted accuracy QAs, tracked samples and supporting documentation, wrote work plans, scopes of work, design plans, monitoring and maintenance plans, annual monitoring reports, standard operating procedures, and health and safety plans. Knowledge of multiple computer programs such as Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Crystal Ball, GraphPad Prism, Survey123, Collector, 3D-Office and SAP. I also have experience in product safety including creating Safety Data Sheets using CLP (Classification, Labeling, and Packaging) regulations, and compiling toxicology study information into a QSAR (Quantitative Structure Activity Relationship) database.
