My job responsibilities include but not limited to the following:-determining, negotiating and agreeing in-house quality procedures, standards and/or specifications-assessing customer requirements and ensuring that these are met-setting customer service standards-specifying quality requirements of raw materials with suppliers-investigating and setting standards for quality/health and safety-ensuring that manufacturing processes comply with standards at both national and international level-working with operating staff to establish procedures, standards, systems and procedures-writing management and technical reports -determining training needs-managing and implementing change for improvement in performance/quality when needed-directing objectives to maximise profitability-recording, analysing and distributing statistical information-monitoring performance-supervising technical or laboratory staff.

Responsible for the safety and productivity of all production employees staffed as well as plant security. I am accountable for ensuring that the production schedule is executed in a timely manner and within all quality parameters. I also participate in both the hiring and performance management processes.Some other responsibilities that I have are as follows but are not limited:-Enable effective communications between management and operators- Train new employees and coach existing employees-Maintain a clean and safe work place - Investigate and report all incidents (spills, accidents, poor performance)-Ensure that products are packed as necessary-Suggest and implement cost-saving ideas

Throughout my years at Alpha Metal Finishing I was involved in many areas for my working abilities. I started out working in the area that was known as IBM production area. I moved from IBM racking to IBM inspection & packaging. Soon after working in the inspection area of IBM I was asked to do the quality and inspection of all product. During my time of becoming a quality inspector I was challenged to multi-task from shipping/receiving to unracking & packaging customer product(s). After spending 12 years providing the skills I had acquired and my abilities throughout the company I was promoted to Production Team Leader.
