After graduating from Oxford University with a 1st in Economics and Management, I joined PwC where I qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Subsequently, I spent four years as an adviser in mergers and acquisitions, formerly at UBS before moving to Hawkpoint to follow my passion for working with smaller, high growth, entrepreneurial businesses. During this time, I advised clients across a number of industries in both the private and public sectors on company mergers, acquisitions, divestments, leveraged transactions and general corporate strategy.I left the city in 2010 to join David Phillips Furniture, the leading provider of furniture and related services to the residential property sector. I spent 3 years at David Phillips during which time I helped the business to double turnover and treble profitability through a combination of organic and acquisitive growth. I also led the business through a successful MBO with Fleming Family and Partners.Subsequent to David Phillips, I joined LSL Property Services plc to develop and oversee their acquisition strategy and corporate development.
