I currently volunteer as a Steward at London Zoo, helping to answer questions about the animals, assist with the needs of visitor needs and aid in animal education and conservation.

Worked within the Museum Vivarium pre-lockdown, conducting gallery tours and aiding the Curatorial Assistants in their work. This included tasks such as feeding the variety of endangered amphibians and reptiles within the private section of the facility, cleaning the vivariums daily, conducting population counts and maintaining safe conditions. Additionally, I ran weekly Gallery Tours as part of the Museum’s events schedule, conducting hour-long informative sessions with members of the public to aid with education and understanding of the role of the Vivarium in amphibian conservation.

Worked as a Teaching Assistant at Highgate School where I assisted with lessons, ran extracurricular clubs and generally helped with any current tasks or problems. This involved effectively communicating with the school staff as an integrated member of the team whilst actively working to assist wherever help was needed.
