This year I will be tutoring the Land Law paper at the University of Waikato. From my own experience, this is perhaps one of the most transferrable papers that most students will use once they graduate. This gives me an opportunity to pass on some of the practical property experience I picked up working at McCaw Lewis.

I tutor english to students ranging from new-entrants through to High School NCEA. I find this to be incredibly rewarding as I am able to work with students that are struggling, that are learning english as a second language and all the way through to those that are more advanced in the subject.

Over the summer I had the privilege of being a Clerk at McCaw Lewis. I was based in the commercial team but was also involved in property and asset planning. The highlight of the summer was being able to experience multiple legal areas and being able to work with some incredibly impressive members of the legal community. I was also fortunate enough to have a case summary published in the December 2017 edition of the LexisNexis Conveyancing Bulletin.
