I love owning and managing our family run campground here in Central Pennsylvania. I not only get to spend more time with my family, but I also get to meet other families and have a lot of fun doing so. Plus I get to spend a lot of time outdoors, doing the things I love. It is not easy to say the least, but the challenges just continue to educate me.

I managed the crew for two buildings, which includes two leads and then 11 employees or so at a time. We cleaned professional bank building headquarters.

I was the lead CNA for 3rd shift. The unit I worked on had 27 beds. I worked with 1 other CNA and 1 RN on our unit. We cared for all the residents in those beds, making sure they were clean, comfortable and safe. I also helped out on other units as needed since I was the lead. We did rounds several times throughout the night and answered call bells as needed. I sat with people as they took their last breath and did their post mortem care after they passed. I treated each of my residents as though they were my grandparents.

I started using the surge machines working floor mats for vehicles, then worked line lead for extruders making floor mats, then ran the heavy equipment and furnaces that ran over 750°f and mold machines that formed the interior carpet for vehicles. Working in extreme heat and heavy lifting required. The only reason I ended my career with Lear was I became pregnant and was advised by doctors to quit due to the chemicals and the heat conditions.
