Experienced ambulatory care leader with a focus on quality improvement and processes in the provision of interdisciplinary team-based care.Prior to my current role, I practiced within the University of North Carolina Internal Medicine Clinic where I serve as Assistant Medical Director and Enhanced Care Program Supervisor. The Enhanced Care Program encompasses the team's Advanced Practice Providers (Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioner, and Clinical Pharmacist Practitioners), Dietitian, and Social Work Team. Originally hired in that position to develop the transitional care service within the practice, my clinical role expanded to included Annual Wellness Visits and chronic disease state management through traditional face to face visits, telehealth, and chronic care management. I am a national expert on billing for ambulatory pharmacy services and have been invited to speak nationally on several billing topics.
