Responsible for providing design and engineering solutions for all types of scaffolding requirements. Producing detailed design drawings for major contractors of scaffold structures (tube & fitting and system scaffolding) including: Temporary Roofs, Heavy duty Scaffolds, Bridged Access, Pavement Gantries and Sheeted Independent Scaffolds.

• Responsible for an internal team currently consisting of 14 AutoCAD/Revit technicians. This responsibility includes initial briefing with CAD technicians on projects, dealing and resolving any technical issues that arise, ensuring that projects progress in a timely manner and then undertaking quality control checks on finished work.• Similarly, being responsible for projects undertaken by external contractors. This includes the numerous outsourcing processes, regular monitoring of the outsourced task and then checking the final product returned by the contractors.• Implementing a set of Quality Control Standards that all projects should adhere to, then training new starters and surveyors to follow this standard.• Carrying out performance reviews, interviews, motivating and training my staff on new services or areas that I feel they need help with.• Producing detailed 3D CAD models for Right of Light, Daylight & Sunlight analysis using bespoke analysis software. Carrying out detailed analysis and providing expert reports and technical consultancy to Surveyors and Architects.• Taking LSS data, and converting the levels to create a mesh, then using Point cloud data to model street furniture, road markings and services to make an extensive detailed 3D Topographical Survey.• Working out precise timings for new site and Cad work then reporting to the quotes department to maintain accurate timings for projects and pricing. • Working closely with the sister company GIA, taking on many prestigious Right of Light Projects such as Aviva, Camilla and Dragon. Managing GIA requests and expectations, and being the first call for edits and queries. • Liaison and dealing with any queries from architects/clients on projects in order to form good working relationships and continuing throughput of projects.• Delivering detailed 2d floor plans, sections, elevations, space planning plans.• Delivering detailed 3D Architectural Models.

• Successfully updated the Council’s existing property register into a new Asset Management format within a tight six-month timescale. The work involved the careful revision of historical AutoCAD plans from multiple sources for over 300 properties.• Carrying out important and trusted tasks within the core data of the council’s Asset Management database system Tf facility. This was introduced to better inform the councils business and commercial decisions when dealing with its property assets.• Successfully achieving improved asset management by updating the councils existing AutoCAD plans into a new Tf facility format so that they can be read by the other sections of the council. This was achieved by inserting complex blocks which act as graphic hooks to access all relevant information about the property into an interactive drawing. E.g. recording detailed area calculations (GIA, NIA, and GEA) in accordance with Royal Institute of Charted Surveyors (RICS) code of measuring practice.• Drawing a range of specialist CAD plans according to specification. Including Floor plans, Right to buy and statutory plans (including DDA), Space Planning, Elevations, Sections, Land Survey and Asset Management plans.• Using tape and the Leica Disto (laser equipment) undertook extensive field measurements and recording the information onto hand–drawn sketches prior to the production of CAD drawings using AutoCAD.• Delivered detailed Land Surveys projects as part of a Land Survey team, as an experienced operator of the Leica Total Station Instrument, on numerous projects i.e. road junctions, parks, schools. Completing Primary school premises in line with the target objective of six surveys every six months.
