My main responsibility was to develop the daily/weekly MS Excel based sales data reports to provide improved and informative sales information. This required an expansion of usability of complex MS Excel formulae. I developed new multi layered summaries with item level data up to dashboards. There was also a need for cleansing of raw data to be imported into the a/s400 system for Cognos analysis. The number of retailers data I was responsible for was 10 UK and 6 Nordics. My MS Excel reports assisted all management levels of the business, and all departments, from directors to finance. I was responsible for MS Excel training of other Mattel employees, including the yearly intake of interns

The task was to improve the efficiency and speed of a complicated data report that was taking 3 days to update, and to ensure simpler data entry for the data teams. This was achieved using MS Access and MS Excel Macro programming. This important monthly report now updates in 2/3 hours from raw data with beginning to end graphical presentation
