In the photo department, I helped customers print their photos using our kiosk system. As a cashier, I got to interact with many customers per day. I also rang up merchandise, made bill payments and cashed payroll checks all from the register.

My primary focus was attending to customers- whether it was sales, running the register or any task that fell under “customer service.” I also worked with other employees to do floor displays, shipping and receiving, and general cleaning of the store.

I received projects from both my superiors and clients directly to produce various computer graphics using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Macromedia Dreamweaver and Fireworks. I would create anything from presentation flowcharts to full web sites. I also performed back-end website software testing using HTML, Javascript, and Joomla.

I would take action photos at gymnastics and figure skating events all across the Eastern United States using a Canon Eos 1D Camera with Canon 70-200L f/2.8 Lens. I also posed athletes for portraits using a Nikon D3 with a standard short lens and full light kit. I edited and color-corrected photos using Adobe Photoshop CS as well as worked closely with customers in photo sales.

Receiving project details from the owner or sales representative, I would delegate work amongst all of the designers, including myself. Most of my time was spent developing or editing websites using Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Dreamweaver and Fireworks. Occasionally I would provide illustrations or animations using a combination of drawings, Coral Painter, Adobe Illustrator and Macromedia Flash. I also maintained the hardware and software for all the company's computers.
