I am currently looking for a new challenge having taken redundancy from my last role as Operations manager for GXO logistics working on a City Plumbing contract at Omega North , Burtonwood , Warrington. I have worked on this contract for the last 10 years from the start up of the site when it was originally set up as Travis Perkins PLC as its Northern based site. I was instrumental in the set up the site travelling each week to Travis Perkins Northampton Site to gain knowledge of their business and transfer this to the new site along with setting up all MHE , media , layout and staffing requirements within a 3 month period before the site opening. Prior to this I spent 26 years working for 3rd party contractors Christian Salveson , NDL and XPO logistics all working on a Marks & Spencer's contract based at Woolston Grange , Warrington. During my time on this contract I started working as part of the Stock control team working my way up to Shift Manager and also spending time away from the site when seconded into an Audit investigation team looking at opportunities at other contracts within the 3rd party portfolio.
