I planned, executed and successfully completed a number of Sales Profiling Projects in Organisational Research and Psychology. The aim of these projects were to create profiles of the ideal salesperson based on different selling contexts i.e. face to face vs. telephone sales. Objective sales performance measures were correlated with personality traits from the NEO after accounting for tenure. Two different profiles were created that are used to enhance recruitment and selection processes today. Key responsibilities included: collecting and analysing data, stakeholder management, cross-team collaboration, presenting findings to the Senior Leadership Team (i.e. CEO, SVP Human Resources, SVP Sales & Marketing) and making strategic recommendations based on practical implications for the business.I also collaborated with the Senior Leadership Team and CEO on a number of strategic initiatives for the business. These have included: conducting a Training Needs Analysis to inform the design and delivery of targeted leadership workshops I created for Sales Managers. Additionally, adding value to recruitment & selection processes using psychometrics and behavioural profiling, designing and delivering training modules in Emotional Intelligence, Resiliency and Positive Psychology (PERMA model) and successfully leading several challenging change initiatives.

Internal consultant responsible for collaborating with another Master of Organisational Psychology student to produce a framework for developing a new type of Leadership workshop. This Master’s placement involved considerable amounts of research into Career Development Theory, Narrative Counselling and the Neuroscience of learning. This literature provided the theoretical underpinnings of the workshop. The aim of the project was to produce a plan for a workshop that enables participants to realise they have an identity as a leader and what this means to them through examination of their core values & beliefs. Key contributions also included conducting a series of Narrative interviews with organisational leaders. Deliverables included transcriptions of interviews, identification of themes and a summary report for the organisation, detailing how this workshop could be developed.

Internal consultant responsible for comprehensive analyses of a large commercial data base during a Master’s placement. Gained a detailed understanding of the Full-Range Leadership Model and its associated psychometric tool – the MLQ360+. Completed a detailed and challenging statistical analysis of an international database, comprising over 75,000 participants. Produced new Australian and Australian industry norms, which are now being used commercially as a basis for comparison by the organisation.Conducted manual t-tests in Excel using only aggregate data to compare meaningful differences in leadership styles between countries. Calculated over 63 Hierarchical Multiple Regressions in SPSS to determine leadership profiles across 14 different Australian industries. Produced a detailed statistical report for the organisation with significant commercial value for the company and their clients.

External consultant responsible for autonomously contributing to the development of a People Leader’s Toolkit for Centre Directors (CDs) nationwide. The aim of the project was to create a base of resources CDs could draw upon to improve the quality and consistency of their leadership skills.Key contributions to the successful completion of the larger project included: gap analysis, stakeholder management, survey creation and administration, data collection, data analyses (quantitative and qualitative) and provision of recommendations in a comprehensive report.
