Support OSR & ISR on pricing and availability on Alloy products on East Coast

Currently covering the IA, IL, MO, NE, LA, OK & TX areas - new business development, cold calling, visiting and building long term relationships.I'm primarily responsible for developing and managing overall sales and marketing efforts for Olympic Steel, Inc. a Master Carbon, Stainless & Aluminum Distributor for the US, Canada, Mexico and International. My position demands frequent direct face-to-face contact in a consultative sales approach to ensure the satisfaction of customer needs, in which I travel several times a quarter for a week at a time. I identify selling opportunities and immediately act upon, offer maximum potential and/or profit. I work developing new accounts and maintain strong working relationships with established loyal customers. I participate in growing the region by staying on top of buying trends, market conditions, market pricing, and inventory. I partner with Inside Sales as well as our Executive Specialty Products Management Team. Provide individual quotes and contract pricing, expediting orders with short lead times or unusual requirements, ensuring correct inventory is in stock to support general sales, proactively identifying customer needs and advising customers of potential issues, developing marketing plans and strategies.

Covering the LA, OK & TX areas - outside / inside cold calling sale rep
