This includes finalising orders, organising the transport of freight and ensuring the order is processed correctly. - Establishing appropriate storage locations and ensuring all storage capability is up to standard with the clients requirements. - Review and charging the client for storage of freight, inwards and outbound orders - Weekly reporting, communicating to clients the logistics capacity and a full report showing what stock they have stored within the Mainfreight facility Transport: - Receive, manifest and base all freight that comes inbound from each dispatch facility from the client. - Maintain a strong level of communication with other teams that play a key part of transporting this freight, including South Island team, Admin, Operations Managers and Key Account Managers.- Weekly communication with the client on any challenges or opportunities that may arise with the transportation of their freight. - Daily “exceptions” reporting on any potential hiccups with various consignments that may have taken longer than necessary to transport.
