I was in charge of curriculum for Sunday School programs, kindergarten to high school. I was also responsible for fundraising, volunteers, VBS, and maintaining programs for the middle school and High School. Every summer, I would also make arrangements for the High Schoolers to go to a mission program through the DOORS program in Chicago or Denver. For the younger children, I would arrange for summer camp in taking them there and picking them up. I was also in charge of communication between the parents of the children who attended the church as well as writing articles in the monthly newsletter about what the youth program was doing. As my middle school group consisted completely of special needs children (ADD, ADHD, Autism), I was also responsible for educating the church of how special the children were in our church and the unique possibilities available to the church.
