This role primarily involves locating and picking stock that is needed on the shop floor. We are required to process stock efficiently to match products being purchased in-store.In addition to these tasks, we may be asked to help out on the shop floor during busy hours, and this means offering friendly service to customers.Throughout this contract, NEXT has offered me and its employees with paid training, which ranges from fire health and safety to how to use the tills.

Year 1: UKSEDS competitionYear 2: CanSat competition (currently participating)~~~In Yr1 of my degree at UoS, I joined SunSat as a team member for avionics. The role involved meeting weekly to discuss with the structures team where the project was at and who was working on what. I was tasked to work on the combination of the various sensors and controllers used on the CubeSat. Skills I developed through this experience are: Coding (in C, C++ and python), working with electricals (including soldering), source control using GitHub, time management, report writing and presentation.
