Jamie Hanna, OD earned her Bachelor of Science in Zoology from the North Carolina State University. She later received her Doctorate in Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry. She graduated in 2003 with honors in the top 5% of her class. Dr. Hanna completed externships in several different modes of practice where she gained an understanding of ocular disease and treatment. She participated in comprehensive eye examinations, cataract evaluations, and Lasik pre- and post-operative visits. Dr. Hanna joined the Eye Care Center in Greenville, NC after graduation. She began working at the Eye Care Center in Wake Forest with Dr. Swaim in 2006 as she relocated with her family moved to Wake Forest.
