Hello my name is Jamie and I am currently a second year business student at NCI. I am a qualified referee for junior GAA football. Some of the modules I have enjoyed during my time in college are Human Resource Management, Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Creativity, and Social Organisational Behaviour.Career experiences- Currently working part-time in Euro Car Parks Dublin.I have worked other jobs in the retail sector since I was 15 (now 20). These would include sales assistant in shops such as Spar or Arnott’s or providing customer care in the leisure plex clock. Every summer when I’ve had more time off I’ve worked full time in the carpentry trade. I’ve gained lots of experience and developed new skills in each industry I’ve worked in. Due to my diverse experience, I believe my ability to adapt has been highlighted as well as working during the pandemic adapting to new working environments. All of my jobs have centered around providing good customer care and allowed me to maximize my communication and problem-solving skills. I am an energetic, enthusiastic, and driven person. These qualities allow me to set goals and aim high in terms of advancing my career and furthering my education. My interests and hobbies include fitness and music. I try to maintain a healthy lifestyle by going to the gym 4 times a week as well as playing football at a senior level. Whenever I can I love to squeeze in a round of golf too. At night to unwind I listen to music or podcasts.
