- Responsible for cost accounting activity for two manufacturing sites with inventory of ~$140M including standard costing, maintaining inventory control, and review of inventory reserves- Process manual journal entries and complete account reconciliations for month-end closing while assisting management with month end review of other accountants’ reconciliations- Analyze production cost variances and provide detailed analysis to site leadership and ISC while highlighting key findings and communicating necessary changes to reduce variances- Co-lead annual standard cost setting for 25 sites with ~900,000 parts while individually managing two sites to ensure standard cost accuracy

- Manage and forecast two customer portfolios totaling ~$15M in accounts receivables each month while analyzing potential customer disputes to determine root cause and corrective action- Communicate with customers daily to reduce past dues and proactively manage their accounts- Collaborate with customer business team to solve invoice and customer issues to maintain and further develop the customer relationship- Report weekly results and status updates on maximizing accounts receivables collections to business leadership and credit management while identifying any cash flow risks

- Perform general ledger accounting activities for multiple sites including processing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations and reducing aged goods/invoice receipts discrepancies- Reconcile accounts for month-end closing and bi-weekly payroll in SAP while processing payroll accruals for seven sites- Successfully transferred general ledger activities to international team members by training and mentoring individuals on the processes and activities- Took undefined set of tasks, identified key activities in the role and optimized a set of procedures and checklists to help perform the tasks more efficiently- Transitioned site to SAP for payroll and general ledger while standardizing processes to mirror other sites
