I recently graduated with my PhD in Environmental Geology from the University of the Free State and am open to gaining experience in a working/research environment where my skills gained can be applied. My studies are relevant to many fields in the geological sciences, environmental sciences and geohydrology areas.I am a highly motivated individual and meticulous in my working methods. I possess excellent time management and communication skills which allow me to work effectively to set goals and achieve targets in high pressure environments. I have been able to present my research virtually at SUSTREM 2021, an oral presentation locally at the GSSA Geocongress in 2023. I have also travelled to Athens Greece to present my work in an oral presentation and poster presentation at the SEGH 2023 International conference which was well received by my peers and fellows at the SEGH (winner of the best poster award for SEGH 2023).My PhD focuses on trace metal contamination and prediction using geochemical and remote sensing techniques which are becoming more applicable in today's environmentally focused world.
