I'm a maker. Former theatre carpenter and technical director, with my industry on hold during pandemic precautions.

Oversaw retail construction projects for malls and the Strip commercial locations. Worked with clients and designers to fabricate and install custom fixtures and install vinyl graphics on steel, acrylic, and traditional carpentry fixtures.

Worked with vendors and contracted scene shop to build the award-winning production of "Death and Harry Houdini". Worked closely with resident magician, Dennis Watkins, on design and implementation of large-scale illusions. Oversaw the load-out and transportation of the production to its run in Miami, FL as well as its return to Chicago.

Built productions in the scene shop, oversaw student workers, and collaborated with fellow graduate students on mainstage productions.

Designed and built the theatrical season, supporting dance and vocal productions as well. Managed student crews and taught technical theatre classes each semester.
