I graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a BA in Studio Art and Art History. My concentration was primarily in graphic design and painting. During my time as an undergrad, I was a studio intern for Acme Art Studios in downtown Wilmington which sparked my love for working with small, local businesses with a creative focus. I began working at The Children's Museum of Wilmington as Assistant Marketing Coordinator while working towards my MA in Integrated Marketing and Communications. I was the Marketing Coordinator for The Children's Museum and handled all internal and external communications of the Museum while I began to do freelance work on the side.I finally decided to turn my freelancing experience into a business: Longshore Art + Design LLC. I am an artist, muralist, graphic designer, and digital marketing consultant and coordinator. I have worked with many businesses including Bliss Aesthetics Studio, Bill Paris Photography, NicoBlue Jewelry, The Hemp Garden, Hop Yard Raleigh, Barefoot Blends Pottery, TAD Photos, Ibiza Nightclub Wilmington, Uptown Market, and Charlotte Magazine. I truly enjoy helping businesses large and small execute their vision by establishing a clear brand identity at every touchpoint.
