I have always been a positive and adventurous person and that was definitely proven back in 2012 when I made the leap to change my career path from administrative professional to US Navy Sailor. I left my customer service position of five years to join the Navy and it was one of the best decisions for my career I could have made. That experience helped to define me as a person and allowed the skills I have acquired over 10 years to become refined and polished. In every setting I was able to improvise, adapt, and overcome any hurdles to provide quality work that lead to my success and enjoyment of my work.I served honorably for over four years with a T/S clearance. In that time I had the honor of serving aboard the USS George Washington and the USS Ronald Reagan. During my service I was career counselor and trainer which provided me tremendous opportunities to work with individuals and prepare them for success. That has finally lead me to my most recent career development of pursuing my Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management at the University of Maryland Global Campus, formerly University of Maryland University College. I am keen to apply the skills I have developed over the course of the last decade and a half to a new career in Human Resources. I believe the culmination of experience that has developed a prospective employee that is an independent decision making, creative problem solving, attention to detail, and a final dash customer service orientated.
