Manage a portfolio of more than 100 entities including annual donors, corporate giving, foundations, and major and planned giving prospects. Develop strategies for the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major and annual gifts.Identify, cultivate and solicit planned giving prospects leading to more than $5 million in estate gifts realized. Manage all aspects of the Center’s advancement efforts including proposal development, collateral material, website and e-newsletter, marketing, outreach events, faculty presentations, and donor meetings. Cultivate relationships with more than forty faculty helping them to share their high level science in lay terms through presentations, donor visits, and tours of the center’s state-of-the-art facility. Organize and plan more than 25 prospecting, outreach, and cultivation events in an effort to elevate the public profile of the center, including a series of three events that featured a generous donor compelled to share his experience and story. Directly supervise the center’s Communications Manager working in partnership to develop a comprehensive communications platform including press and traditional media, social media, website, and media training for faculty.Management of support staff.As of June 2016, successfully exceeded UCLA Centennial Campaign goal.

Financial Resource DevelopmentIncreased giving to UJA-Federation’s Annual Staff Campaign by 10% raising more than $250,000.Developed the fundraising plan for a $10 million campaign to sustain and improve direct services to Holocaust survivors in New York City. Launched a bi-monthly workshop that offers advanced fundraising techniques to agency executives. Planning and Organizational DevelopmentCreated the Community Network Directory, a reference guide of services offered by beneficiary agencies. Redesigned the Organizational Review Process used to evaluate and monitor agency operations and governance, and informs the annual grant distribution of more than $30 million. Recruited and trained more than 100 donors for the Organizational Review Program. Managed the Agency Staff Liaison Program designed to increase communication with beneficiary agencies.
