I'm a proud first-generation college student attending University of California, Berkeley as a 2nd Year undergraduate. I am double-majoring in Public Health and Molecular & Cell Biology, intending to pursue the Immunology and Molecular Medicine Track. I value service and advocacy for the representation of the communities that I am proudly apart of.I am in constant search for opportunities to nurture and expand my interests in the sciences and healthcare. Apart of nurturing that curiosity includes my open-mindedness to developing new skills in various settings such as scientific research and hands-on clinical caregiving. I am passionate about pursuing a career in healthcare/medicine that equip me with the knowledge and empowerment me to address the needs for the visibility of patients from lower-income, marginalized backgrounds. During my time at UC Berkeley, I hope my education will provide me a more well-rounded and culturally-conscious perspective of public health alongside a sophisticated understanding of the cell biology sciences so that I will eventually contribute to the field of medicine as a provider and vocal advocate for healthcare equity in my hometown of Stockton, CA as well as in the communities I will be apart of in the future.
