Intakes, Assessments and Evaluations, Co-leading Intensive Outpatient Group Settings, Suboxone Groups, and Structured Outpatient Settings. Developing a therapeutic relationship with clients and developing treatment plans, organizing community involvement and helping advocated for clients unmet needs.

Responsibility for delivering paraprofessional mental health care under supervision, in collaboration with nursing staff and maintaining a therapeutic milieu. Facilitate and/or co-facilitates the therapeutic group process. Interact with patients and significant others in therapeutic relationships. Provide structure and as an active member of the mental health team, taking developmental age of patient into account. Utilize the master treatment plan for assistance in identifying and implementing developmental age appropriate interventions with patients. This included setting limits in a therapeutic and consistent manner on a patient’s behavior within program guidelines and identification of verbal and non-verbal cues for potential aggressive behavior and application of de-escalation techniques to the situation. Implement appropriate interventions and document patient’s responses in the medical record. Identify thought patterns and behaviors associated with different types of psychiatric diagnoses.

Assist in minor surgery, sterile set-up preparation. Scheduled surgery and testing at Uniontown Hospital. Removal of sutures, and prepare patient for doctor. Apply Una boots. Trained in wound care. Sterilize and clean instruments. Record vital signs.This position began as an internship and lead to full time employment.
