I started my own company doing waste management removals and obtained a waste management licence. Job consists of collecting rubbish I.e. wood, rubble and garden waste from properties and disposing of it in an environmentally friendly way at a private landfill site. I risk asses every job and wear the correct PPE.The environment is an important part of everyday life which I take serious. I like to help people recycle as much as we can to protect the environment. My motto is ‘ the environment is not a dirty word’.

I am currently working for Evri where I have my own round and complete this in a timely and safe manor. I was able to work alone and plan my route effectively. Communicating with managers and customers is also vital to this job.

I worked as a labourer, demolishing bathroom suites, kitchens in old houses and helped fit the new appliances. I took particular interest in the plumbing side of things and worked with the plumbers on a daily basis.Risk assessments and PPE were always carried out. I worked in a team environment communicating well to get the tasks completed injury free.Always willing to stop the job if I noticed someone in danger or the job wasn’t going as planned.

Delivered 95-150 parcels a day using Dpd work van.Organised my own van and route to successfully deliver parcels on time to customers.

I worked at Nissan for 6 years 3 months. I was a member of Door Assembly and I could do 4 jobs on the line. On all jobs I had to follow a job process sheet and learn how to complete it quickly. I used power tools and mainly manual labour along with nuts and bolts. Working at Nissan has allowed me to develop my manufacturing skills and given me a lot more responsibility as all cars have to be built to perfection for the customer. Conducting risk assessments and working as a team member was important in a fast paced industry.
