I have been working as a Product Owner for Team Kahu in the Pathway to Wellbeing Agile Release Train (PART). The team's focus has been on modernising the underlying platforms for ACC claim and client management, enabling better solutions to be built for staff and clients alike.While I was originally hired in as a Scrum Master, the greatest need for the team and the cross-ART initiatives they were a part of delivering was to step into the role of Product Ownership with a focus on engaging better across technology and the business to develop the right solutions and be able to deliver them well

I have worked as the Agile & Delivery coach for the Government Banking Delivery Programme, which has been an amazing opportunity to apply my coaching experience outside of software development. I've worked with a highly skilled and collaborative multi-disciplinary team to identify and support implementation of improvements to servicing of government agencies, to identify goals and needs, and prioritise and plan responsively to core requirements, and stakeholder goals which could change at short notice. I lead Stuff Product’s Agile Practice, working to support and grow Agile practices across our development teams in Wellington and Auckland. The Automation team used SpecFlow, WebDriver and Visual Studio. Jamie led the successful Estimation, Proof of Concept and Design of several Automation projects utilising both Rational Robot and Mercury QTP and developed a Test Automation strategy accepted by senior management.He lead Manual, Automated and User Acceptance Testing for the MDE (Managed Desktop Environment) Project, Microsoft Patch releases and Business As Usual application upgrades for the BNZ Corporate Environment. The MDE Project was in place to upgrade all BNZ Corporate Workstations to a managed and customised Windows XP environment to ensure the bank was fully SOX-compliant.

Jamie’s initial role at Westpac was Creation, Maintenance and Execution of the Internet Banking Test Automation Suites. He was then made Lead Tester or the newly-formed Test Automation team at the start of 2003.
