• I implemented a system of partial differential equations in the software VCell in search of mechanisms in the signaling pathway that enable the model to qualitatively match live-cell imaging results.

The Department of Education's Graduate Assistance in Areas of National Need (GAANN) Fellowship supported my graduate research work for three years. As part of this fellowship, I took a number of classes to get my minor in Biotechnology including professional development and research ethics classes. • I was the teaching assistant for a new course and lab module called High-Throughput Discovery designed to introduce upper-level undergraduates and graduate students to high-throughput technology and the associated data.
