The busiest ambulance service in the UK, I was a member of the Board and the Executive Committee and played a key role in helping the Trust move out of special measures, successfully oversaw and launched a new five-year Strategy (dubbed by the London Evening Standard as a 'Healthcare Revolution'), led a rebranding exercise of the organisation with a new vision and a set of organisational values and behaviours, oversaw the most successful VIP staff awards in its history, delivered a much improved external website and created a framework to help colleagues on the Executive Committee improve their 'board-to-floor' visibility with frontline staff. I elevated the status of the Trust nationally and achieved a significant improvement in the amount of positive national and regional print and broadcast coverage they received.

The world's largest transport authority, TfL is responsible for 30 million journeys each day on the road and public transport networks. Managing a £11bn annual budget and with over 31,000 members of staff, it runs the day-to-day operation of the Tube, bus and Overground networks as well as plans for future regeneration and transport schemes, such as Crossrail 2.
