A practiced experience with Project management, Technical leadership & Communication. Implementing design analysis as well as optimization for manufacture skills on a weekly basis.Project managing: > Adjustable Pedal box assembly. A system to allow versatility regardless of each drivers height to drive the car. Calculations and FEA was completed on the baseplate to help reduce weight and increase strength where possible. Designed by myself, due to the sudden absence of a member. > Brake & throttle pedals as well as hand controls for the clutch. Due to limited space to fit the adjustable pedal box assembly, the clutch was integrated into a hand control to set the car off from standstill.> Seat mounting brackets and harness points. Gaining a NDA from Tillet seats, a digital seat could be fitted to the new car design. This allowed for better visualisation of the driver environment to verify specific seat mounting points, safety regulations regarding the seating position of the driver when restrained under a 6-point harness system as well as general safety standards such as placement of the firewall. > Driver protective equipment and fire resistant garments.
