My role as a Staffing Specialist is to interview and hire quality candidates for a leading manufacturer in Northeast Iowa. Advertise job openings across multiple channels (e.g. job boards, career pages, colleges, social networks, career fairs). Coordinate with department managers and plant managers to identify current and future hiring needs. Complete hiring status reports, design procedures and follow-ups for each stage of the hiring and employment process, payroll, and Worker’s Compensation Claims.

Responsible for answering incoming calls to identify customer concern and timely give resolution. Most inquiries consisted of billing matters. Extensive training has been given to develop expert skills in this job. Working multiple software and being quick to multitask is a necessity. While working at CUNA, I achieved the knowledge and skills to cross sell products and generate multiple leads for products consumers may not have known were available to them. I also took optional classes while at work and on my free time to obtain Series 6 license.

Duties as a hospitality representative include taking incoming calls to direct to various departments within the hotel and casino as well as making hotel reservations over the phone. Operating the front desk to check guests in and out of the hotel. Being a team member in this department I also worked in the Java Bay Café in which the duties included taking customer orders, running the cash register and familiarizing myself with the merchandise so that I could best assist the customers. I gained more experience in difficult situations since having been a part of the Isle team, main issues being involved with damage or defective merchandise in the café as well as overbooking in the hotel.

Responsible for servicing the home mortgages for customers of the entities that Ocwen services. I completed such training of privately serviced loans as well as military and bankruptcy involved loans. I excelled at multi-tasking by taking customer calls while operating many different programs at the same time. My biggest accomplishment was becoming a floor assistant for the call center. Being able to train on different levels gave me the opportunity to assist my peers with difficult tasks. I received compliments from customers stating that I had become an “asset to the company” also recognition from superiors showing praise for outstanding quality and being ranked one of the “top ten” agents of the call center.
