2009-2018- Software team leader/manager (~15 developers, 2013-2018) for the BACN Information Broker (BIB). BIB is a web based application providing situational awareness, mission planning, and user collaboration to forward deployed users and operators for the Battlefield Airborne Communications Node (BACN).- Technologies utilized in BIB: JavaScript (React, Redux, Backbone, Cesium, etc), JSON, Python, Java, RedHat Linux, Apache Http, Git, Jira, Jenkins, ElasticSearch, node.js, Webpack, yarn, Mocha, Junit, PyTest, Selenium.- Extensive travel to forward deployed areas in support BACN from 2009-2018. Full time deployer in support of BACN from 2009-2013. - Led the development of BIB across 3 major baselines and supported numerous service pack upgrades.- Successfully and consistently delivered ahead of schedule and before all other software efforts on the program. 2005-2009- Team leader (~20 developers) on multiple efforts for the Joint Effects Model (JEM 2005-2009). JEM is a web based software application for modeling and simulation of Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear events. The programming languages involved in the development of this application are broad: Fortran, C, C++, Java, JSPs, and JavaScript. Development was done on both Windows and Solaris systems.- Ported JEM from a windows environment and integrated it into the Global Command and Control System Joint and Maritime (GCCS-J, GCCS-M).- Extensive customer support and travel to support integration efforts of JEM into GCCS-J. - Team leader of an automated test framework for the JEM.

During the six years of programming and software application development for Predicate Logic Inc. my responsibilities included designing and developing two major systems for the Department of Defense (DOD) and work on a company proprietary product called TychoMetrics. Responsibilities included all levels of development of the TychoMetrics product suite; an automated data collection and reporting tool, which creates and applies, advanced metrics to data from many disparate sources. My experience spanned numerous releases of Tychometrics written in Visual C++/MFC with Versant, an object-oriented database. My tasking also included providing custom metrics solutions for customer’s focused on data collection, data transformation andreporting using Visual Basic for Applications, ADO, ADO.NET, Perl, and UNIX shell scripts. Versatile code solutions were developed to deal with data in various tools and data formats such as, XML, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, SQL Server, Telelogic Doors, Oracle, and IBM/Rational ClearDDTS. Fundamentally involved with the redesign of the Tychometrics product suite from a Windows desktop application to a web-based application using Mircosoft.NET incorporating C#, ASP.NET, COM, and IIS (Microsoft Internet Information Services). Utilized OLE automation to integrate Microsoft Excel as a reporting tool option for TychoMetrics using COM and C++ in order to increase customer acceptance.Department of Defense (DOD) Experience Full-life cycle development and support of the SLVR (Submarine Low Frequency/Very Low Frequency (LF/VLF) VME bus Receiver) integration with IRM (Integrated Resource Manager) from design through delivery and maintenance for DOD. Currently deployed in active duty submarines in the US Navy. Duties included GUI design using Neuron Data Development suit, inter-process communication using Berkeley sockets, and the SNMP protocol. All development was done on HP-UX Unix in the C Programming Language.
