After several years as lead Brand and Marketing consultant to the Senior Leadership at UTB in 2017, Jamie joined United Trust Bank as their Director of Marketing, during this period the Bank has become one of the UK’s fastest-growing and market-leading Specialist Banks. Jamie combines the role and creates effective synergies as the Agency Principal at Blaze Communication which he founded in 1990. Jamie is also a Non-Exec Director at Rockstead Review a company that provides due diligence across the residential, commercial, and corporate loan sectors. Jamie provides mentoring and pro-bono support for a number of Not for Profit initiatives and Charitable projects.

As the Founding Director and latterly Agency Principal, Jamie has led Blaze in becoming a leading Marketing Communications and Digital Marketing Agency. Providing solutions across the marketing mix Blaze combines in-house creative design studios with an experienced team of content, SEO and Social Media specialists and marketeers. These work alongside the Blaze digital development team engaging on significant web site creation and support projects and the development of a wide variety of digital assets to support campaigns across a variety of sectors with specialisms in Tech and Financial Services.

Rockstead is an independent asset, business and process review company established in 2008. It has a strong reputation in due diligence, third party supplier oversight and regulatory compliance services throughout the UK and Europe. Rockstead's experience in the residential and commercial mortgage sectors provides expertise to buyers, sellers and holders of loan portfolios.

After initially working as a Creative in the studios of MerchantMen - a boutique North London Advertising Agency, I rapidly progressed through senior Executive to Account Director level working on UK-wide and international accounts working with clients in Paris and New York. After supporting the Board in various strategic business development initiatives. I left in 1990 to set up Blaze Communication as one of the first UK agencies designed to fill the gap between traditional advertising agencies and production houses - a model that has become prolific in today's Marketing landscape and the rest as they say is history...

Leaving CDT based at St Martins in 1983 having achieved POS Marketing with Distinction Certification and having funded myself through work in Art Galleries and on Market Stalls across London (diverse as ever) I entered the world of permanent work in the Design Studios of James Haworth, a venerable provider to the Advertising and Marketing sectors for over a century. Some fun and coupled with hard graft so I suppose no change there. I worked on design projects for Guinness, Vauxhall Motors and Cannon amongst a variety of other blue-chip clients. The company had its own production facilities and a high-end photographic studio so I gained a solid and thorough understanding of not only design studio disciplines but also the end-to-end process of marketing material design, development, and production.
