For this experience, I was placed at Avera Research Institute where I researched the impact of interpregnancy interval on parental mental health. I created a thorough literature review and analyzed data from the Environmental Influences on Child Health Outcomes (ECHO) Study. I created a research poster and presented it at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Undergraduate Public Health Scholars showcase.
