● Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for GREAT Youth and Family Program’s after school tutoring, childcare, and summer/vacation camp. ● Create and execute outreach plan to recruit volunteers from local schools, community organizations, and religious organizations for program and one time service opportunities. ● Oversee volunteer interactions with kids during tutoring, childcare, and camp programming and provide additional training to volunteers when necessary. ● Manage Backpack Drive donations including: organizing, sorting, and preparing backpacks to give out to students as well as recruiting volunteers to assist with the drive. ● Provide Trauma Training to our volunteers in addition to other community organizations or community members who work with trauma survivors, or are interested in, the trauma that homeless and at risk kids experience. ● Write and distribute monthly Newsletters to volunteers with important information about training, program changes, and schedule changes for the upcoming month.

• Engage with community members about pro-choice issues; serve as an ambassador for the organization and its work.• Advocate for improved reproductive health legislation and solicit donations from community members.

• Recruited and organized activists for the Value [the] Meal campaign.

• Ensured the smooth transition of refugees from East Africa, the Middle East, and South East Asia into the Baltimore community. • Organized airport pick up, housing, and social services for incoming refugees.

• Directed students, employers, and alumni to the correct resources in order to answer their questions. • Input and processed data collected from students who utilized The Center.
