After graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Newcastle University, I began my career in the North East. The patient is always my number one priority with regards to all aspects of the care that I provide, and I strive to deliver the highest quality work for my patients. I believe that the patient journey is paramount; every patient should feel special from the second they walk into the practice to the moment they leave and beyond – I take the time to get to know my patients, understand what their specific dental needs are, how I can educate them and offer them tailored treatment options that can help them improve their oral health and smiles. I can deliver high quality work at both an individual level and as part of a wider team and thrive in the pressures found in fast paced environments. I ensure that my approach to diagnoses and treatments are both methodical and reproducible as well as following the most up to date evidence base to ensure that the treatment that I provide is to the highest of standards and will stand the test of time. I believe in lifelong learning and have continued to expand and develop my skills since graduating. I have achieved a PG Certificate in Contemporary Restorative & Aesthetic Dentistry from the Dominic Hassall Training Institute. I have also completed multiple courses related to Orthodontics, having most recently achieved a Distinction in my Postgraduate Diploma in Orthodontics after 2 years of study. Through my experience of using digital intraoral scanners in practice and my personal interest in technology I have also developed an interest in Digital Dentistry; I have experience with the same day CEREC workflow, and I have invested in my own 3D printer. I am a member of the Institute of Digital Dentistry and plan to enrol in the Diploma in Digital Dentistry by the International Digital Dental Academy as I plan to significantly further my knowledge in this exciting and rapidly evolving area that has applications in nearly all areas of dentistry.
