Led all aspects of operations, commercial and retail sales for 2 Tacoma dealerships. The business included 34 service associates, 3 salespeople, and 3 assistant managers with a combined annual revenue of $15M. Revenue increased by 102% during my tenure while also persevering through the challenging recession of 2009. I was responsible for business planning, P&L management, sales forecasting, sales pipeline management, direct sales, hiring, training, and day-to-day execution. The environment consisted of non-union and union associates, including Teamster and Machinist union mechanics. I built the success of this business by focusing on facility teamwork, customer service, and a relentless focus on making long-term decisions to drive revenue growth and increase market share. Four of the years resulted in my induction into the Penske Winner's Circle for high achievement in sales. I have in-depth operational and spec knowledge of trucks, trailers, liftgates, refrigerated engines, transmissions, and diesel engines. My business supported products which included operating leases, finance leases, maintenance programs, 3rd party logistics, national account programs, short-term rental, and used truck sales.I resigned from Penske in April, 2014 to take some time away from the corporate world and move my family to Eagle, Idaho where my wife and I could raise our sons close to Grandparents and extended family. I was selected by Penske to direct the integration of Rollins assets and staff for a $14M sales operation. At the time, I was part of Rollins as a Branch Rental Manager. Rollins was aquired by Penske in 2001. This made Penske the largest truck leasing company in the industry. During the challenging transition of combining assets and people, I developed and managed a team of 20 associates in sales, account management, operations, and customer service. My team increased sales with consumer and commercial clientele, with a target of private commercial fleets and large competitor accounts. With the help of excellent assistant managers, I oversaw the P&L, staff, and operations for 6 Washington State locations. In 2002, I was selected as the Western Regional District Rental Manager of the year, which helped lead to a promotion. Out of approximately 100 Districts, my Washington State District was #3 for for 2001 profitability and #2 in 2002. I'm still friends with many people who helped achieve a great accomplishment as we combined two large businesses into one amazing team during 2001-2002.

Oversaw client relations, customer service, and problem resolution. Managed the department P&L to identify profit improvement opportunities. Improved the operating profit to 27%, which ranked #4 among 196 Rollins rental locations nationwide during 2000.

Boeing offered me a position in 1998 after I completed an internship prior to my Senior year at Gonzaga University. I coordinated inventory and parts procurement for Boeing 747, 767, and 777 production lines. I also evaluated production schedules to ensure component fulfillment with just-in-time (JIT) inventory model and managed product and parts purchasing budgets. I left this position to pursue a management trainee position at Rollins in May of 1999, which led to a Rental Manager position in August of 1999.
