Responsible for business Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality management systems compliance in the MENA region. Head of Quality.Helped secure then safely mobilise a major BP construction project in a remote part of Omani desert worth $135m. As well has playing a key role during the tender stage, was also responsible for the preparation of the contract management documentation achieving ‘Authority to Operate’ four weeks ahead of programme.Played a major role in helping to tender, mobilise and support PDO’s Integrated Facilities Management contract worth over $125m annually, one of the largest facilities management contracts in the Middle East region, PDO is Oman’s largest oil & gas provider owned by the Omani government and Shell PetroleumIntroduced a new integrated management system (IMS), accident reporting system, cloud-based document management system, HSEQ performance reporting tool and an audit and action management tool to the Middle East business, successfully aligning Carillion MENA with the wider Carillion Group.

Muscat Head Office

Charged with reviewing and improving the business Quality Assurance and Control programme to streamline processes and procedures and reduce re-work and waste.

Responsible for health, safety and environmental management for Carillion Alawi Support Services. This included Plant & Transport, Joinery Workshops, Head Office and all worker accommodation.

Responsible for all aspects of construction plant and transport safety including operator, driver and lifting operations competence and behaviour, safe equipment and workshops and health, safety and environmental performance monitoring and reporting.
