After 10 years in the health care field, I am transitioning from a working mom - very passionate about the work I was traveling around and able to provide, to active farm wife and “stay-at-home” mom; something I’ve dreamt about since before they were born. It was not a choice based on a vaccine, politics, nor anything other than my desire to be the mom I always wanted to be. It took a lot to get to this place. I will always be committed to helping others and have immense respect for my healthcare friends who continue to change the world for people. But, I have already been met with some of the most beautiful experiences and opportunities to genuinely be a part of my family and a life we love. It’s not for everyone and it’s not easy, but damn, they are so worth it.
