NOC Director

As a Manager of NOC Operations. • Manage a block of 25 to 50 employees in multiple lines of business.• Communicate with C-Level Executives as well as Managers of vertical departments for trouble shooting. • Train employees in how the network works and how to practice break fixes operations.• Work with Vendors for information on devices in the Charter network. • Train my team on procedures and protocols within the Charter NOC department.• Mentor my team on Communication, New technologies, and self-improvement.• Approve notifications, review employees work, and coach when needed. • Perform monthly and yearly employee evaluations and preform raise and promotion recommendations. • Instrumental in policy implementation as well as policy development. • Work using SharePoint Administrator to track employees and policy changes.

As a DOCSIS Engineer with the Advanced Engineering Department. • Preformed PE testing for Residential and Business devices. Utilizing Wireshark, NMAP, DOCSIS Analyzers, Configure decoding and analyzing, and using multiple testing tools.• Configured CMTS cable servers. Rebuilt and configured Cisco 10k, Arris E6k, and CASA. • Versed in Cisco VLAN switching with experience wiring and configuring. • Oversaw and managed the lab wiring and configuration.• Certified prototype devices, new residential, business devices, BSoD devices, and verified new firmware code variation. • Wrote and review testing plans for testing of new and existing devices.• Worked on field issues with vendors to repair and improve existing product for the customer benefit. • Worked closely with vendors and vendor engineering departments to refine various Prototype and new projects and software.• Proficient in all Layers of lab configuration, setup and tracking.• Managed high level project for new and existing products. • Mentored others in DOCSIS and Lab training.• Worked using SharePoint Administrator to maintain and track test cases.
