Handle all financial aspects(budget projections, billing, collections, payments of services and hiring of vendors)

Oversee, direct and manage the opening of new stores and the remodeling or expansion of existing stores. Managed payroll budget, merchandising directives and display sets related to the new store opening/remodeling process as well as special projects as requested.

1. Responsible for all store functions including opening, closing, ordering, freight processing and all day-to-day store activities. 2. Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash. 3. Responsible for managing sales forecasting, work scheduling, payroll hours, and productivity. 4. Responsible for evaluating, recruiting, hiring, training, motivating and counseling of associates. 5. Ensures that all associates have completed required training guidelines while maintaining a favorable training environment. 6. Maintain standards of merchandising presentation and store signage to maximize sales. 7. Provide leadership and direction to associates as appropriate.8. Adhere to all policies and procedures including safety guidelines. 9. Processing of all required reports, documents, and memos.

* Worked in conjunction with the Field Trainer to ensure all associates are trained according to company standards and recorded on the Training Matrix. * Preparation and accurate recording of all media, register checkouts, and deposits. * Accurate completion of new hire paperwork and orientations as directed by the Store Manager, with emphasis on Building Blocks programs and register training according to company standards. * Preparation of payroll and participation in associate scheduling. * Maintain updates to the item price file. * Compliance with cash handling, receiving, safety and maintenance procedures. * Timely communication to management of all corporate, associate and customer issues. * Ensure that all warehouse and vendor merchandise returns are shipped according to schedule and inventory adjustments are entered into systems on a timely basis.
