Jamie is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Master of Arts in Counseling and Psychological Services, and a board-approved clinical supervisor. She is licensed by the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy. Jamie has been trained in Collaborative Intensive Bridging Services and Collaborative Problem Solving and has experience working with adults, adolescents, children, and families in home, school, and outpatient settings. Therapy modalities used in her work include cognitive-behavioral, trauma-informed, solution-focused, emotion-focused, motivational interviewing, and dialectical behavioral interventions. Jamie believes in a person-centered approach to therapy in which each individual is provided space and support to achieve the goals they desire for themselves. Her ideal client is someone who is ready to share their experiences and work together to collaboratively create positive change in their life. She believes that we all have the power to manage and overcome our personal challenges and create the life we desire.
