At the end of 2019 I made the decision to come back to work for Nordstrom and learn Supply Chain. I had the opportunity to be the first Operations Manager hired into Nordstrom’s first Omni Center. I helped build the Inbound Department, and was able to support all departments in the building through launch. I gained a lot of valuable knowledge launching the building supporting our learning and leadership team, the tech and engineer team, product and project teams, and assisted with the hiring process. With launching the building and focusing on 5S, I was intrigued with Continuous Improvement and took a class to receive my Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. With the knowledge I gained at the warehouse and the ability to assist at 4 of our other FC/DC’s, I returned back to the stores to be a part of Logistics as the Regional Operations Manager in SoCal.
